Hardknox Baseball Development is excited and proud to announce that 2019 1B/LHP Brayden Eidson has committed to continue his education and baseball career at Kennesaw State University. Eidson will join the Owls program in the Fall of 2019 after graduating from Strong Rock Christian School.
Eidson has been a member of the Hardknox organization since the beginning under head coaches Dallas McPherson and Mickey Moody. Brayden has been a two-way standout for the 2018 17u Hardknox Orioles and will be given the opportunity to be a two player for the Owls. The KSU coaching staff believes Eidson's long frame (6'3" 155 lbs.) projects to add muscle and get stronger over the next 4-5 years. With a very high contact rate at the plate, Eidson projects to be a productive hitter with developing power at the next level. With a fastball currently in the low 80's and a free and easy arm action, the KSU staff feels he could develop into a D1 pitcher as he grows and gets stronger.
Congratulation to Brayden Eidson and his family. We look forward to seeing him compete at the next level!
